KelMat Transportation, LLC (KMT), is a family owned and operated business specializing in providing top-tier, non-CDL, flatbed trucking services to customers across all industries. Our trucks and trailers are spec’d to deliver your goods quickly, safely, and efficiently. We understand that time is of the essence in today's fast-paced world, which is why we offer hot shot trucking solutions tailored to meet the unique shipping needs of each client.
Our Founder
Matt Lester, founder of KelMat Transportation LLC, has over 30 years of experience in the high-end custom wood products industry, managing operations and logistics at premium-branded companies like Stately Doors & Windows (https://stately.com/ ), Southern Staircase (https://southernstaircase.com/) and Olde Savannah Flooring (https://oldesavannahflooring.com/). He has extensive expertise in production, warehousing, logistics, shipping & receiving and installation, being involved with large-scale projects for notable luxury brands such as the St. Regis Hotel - Buckhead, Bishops Lodge - Santa Fe, Hermes, Cartier, Burberry and Tiffany.
Through his experience, Matt understands the challenges of packaging, crating, and transporting valuable, delicate, unusually shaped, and oversized luxury products. Matt's expertise ensures that the KelMat team has the skills and tools necessary to transport your precious cargo safely and securely to its destination.

Lower Cost Partial Loads
When the cargo you are shipping is important, but not urgent, we offer partial-load services, allowing us to schedule additional small loads along the way to maximize our capacity, while keeping your costs lower. You will be given an agreed-upon range of dates for when your shipment will be delivered.

At KelMat Transportation LLC, we are interested in partnering with customers across many industries. We may specialize in transport of high-end luxury items but also want to serve clients moving Machinery, Building Materials, Millwork, Artwork, Exhibitions, Vehicles, etc.

We are a new company and eager to learn about your unique needs and current freight challenges. If they are not a perfect fit for our current equipment, we can incorporate them into our plans for future additions to our fleet of trucks and trailers.
Our target operating areas will be the Sun Belt and the Midwest regions. However, we are open to exploring other areas if we receive inquiries from potential customers and partners.
